St James Wick

A former chapel of St Brides Major, St James dates from the early 12th century. The chancel arch the inner south doorway and a chancel window remain from this time. The font is 12th century ,the altar slab pre-reformation(15th century)

The churchyard features a lovely “Wildlife and Learning Garden,” created by the children of the village playgroup, which has won several biodiversity awards.
